I was thinking of walking 10 minute increments through out the day. What is better, walking it all in one session or the 10 minute increments?

I do that at work. I work physical security and I have to do a round every other hour. In the nicer weather the round can take up to 30 minutes of walking. On cold days like today, we cut the round short and it takes about 10-15 minutes. I burn about 35 calories at least each round and I do 4-6 rounds a day, pending on how many hours I work. So, today I am doing 6 rounds, I will burn at least 210 calories.0

I was wondering the same thing. I think walking in increments would be better for increasing your metabolism but I'm only speculating. Does anyone know for sure?0
