I'm thinking about trying a weight loss pill for a lil boost during my weight loss I tried Alli before but I didnt like it at all. My friends are trying Hydroxycut and they're seeing some results which is pretty cool. So the question is does anybody know any good weight loss pills out there that will help?

Don't and I mean DON'T TAKE WEIGHT LOSS PILLS. You'll gain everything you loss, plus. It's proven.0

No weightloss without a calorie deficit. One can either take a pill to reduce appetite, and not learn anything.. or empower themselves with self control. Your decision.0

Weight loss pills scare me.
You put on the weight without a pill to help, so I guess I don't see why it's necessary to have one to lose it.
I also have a heart that doesn't deal well with most of those-- as they make my heart race to 'raise my metabolism and burn fat'.
I don't know of any weight loss pill other than Alli that is actually approved by the FDA, and I would definitely check with your doctor before trying anything just because your friends are doing it.
If you must take something, try Green Tea pills-- they can give you a boost but they shouldn't harm you in any way. And the majority of them are natural.0 -
Well I've been yoyo-ing this plateau for a while and I thought a boost will help get me out of it.0

I tried Hydroxycut once and didn't notice any change in my appetite at all. I wouldn't waste your money! If you're on a plateau, try changing up your exercise routine.0

I have tried Hydroxy Cut and almost had a heart attack from it. You should not absolutely not take that or any other weight loss pills. Try Weight Watchers instead. But please please do not go for Hydroxy Cut.

Nothing out there right now is any good unless you get it from a doctor, sad to say, and who knows if that stuff is safe or not?0

A friend of mine used it and had tons of energy but no extra weight loss and I have not heard good things about any of those supplements. They might make you hyper, but really that's not good for your heart. Energy should come from food and weight loss should only come from eating less calories than you burn.0

I definitely wouldn't recommend Hydroxycut. If anything add some proteins & vitamins! You'll be happier that you lost the weight on your own without the "diet pills". Good Luck!0

Usually the diet pills in the stores are not approved by the FDA. Green tea pills can help a bit and like someone else already mentioned most are all natural. Something to think of.
Personally, I wouldn't take any of them without speaking with a doctor. They can have a lot of side effects (some of which can be fatal depending on how the body reacts to the ingredients). Just because your friend is having success with it and it isn't affecting her doesn't mean you will be the same.
Try changing up your exercise and eating. Eating the same things and exercising the same way can cause a stall in your weight loss. Changing things up may help you see results again.0 -
As someone who used to take diet pills (trust me there isn't one I haven't tried) just don't do it, I have made myself ill taking them, I couldn't function without them and they just mess you up and most contain speed.0

NO Hydroxycut .
Someone posted in here last week. Her friend got stroke from taking it.
Another forum, this guy resting heart rate was 125+. He was afraid that he may have a heart attack
so he checked himself to the hospital.
If you have to do it. green tea and caffeine0 -
Instead of the pills, mix up your workouts and push yourself hard. Remember the key to weight loss is diet and exercise. Im just starting on my journey again after having a child, but have been active my entire life. Find something that you enjoy doing and someone to do it with. As much as i hate to admit it, I have seen a ton of different workouts on Pinterest. But please, don't do the pills. You will probably see your friends gain it back in a few months time, while you know you did it the hard way and made the lifestyle change.0

Weight loss pills won't help. I looked back a week in your diary, and you've barely logged anything at all. MFP only works if you use it. If you're not tracking your food intake, how can you know how many calories you're taking in every day?
I'd suggest you try a few weeks of logging healthy food and moderate exercise and see how you do.0 -
