Cream Free Leek and Potato soup?

Has anyone got a recipe for Leek and potato soup that doesn't involve cream?

I substitute double cream for soya cream far fewer calories
I just dont like leek and potato soup without some cream0 -
What about fat free half and half or canned evaporated milk? I think you will need some milk based ingredient for flavor.

Has anyone got a recipe for Leek and potato soup that doesn't involve cream?

• 6 leeks, whites only, well rinsed and drained, coarsely chopped
• 4 medium russet potatoes
• 1 tbsp / 15 ml extra virgin olive oil
• ¼ cup / 60 ml chopped onion
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 8 cups / 2 L low-sodium, low-fat chicken broth or homemade stock
Preparation
Wash leeks thoroughly. Cut into 1-inch pieces. Place in a colander and rinse again.
Peel potatoes and cut into 1-inch chunks.
In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, heat olive oil. Add leeks, potatoes, onion and garlic. Cook for 5-10 minutes, until soft
Add stock to saucepan and bring to a boil.
Once mixture has come to a full boil, reduce heat and cook for another 30 minutes until all vegetables are soft.
Purée soup in a blender or food processor.0 -

Thanks - That's similar to what I just did but without the garlic, I may try the garlic next time
