Eat when your hungry or every few hours?

Hello,

Question about eating when your hungry or eat every few hours? What is the best? I wonder because am I eating becuase I am suppose too (every few hours) or because I am actually hungry...

    In an attempt to jump start my metabolism, I eat every 2 hours. I wake up and eat within 30 minutes of being awake (generally just yogurt or a granola bar) then I eat every 2 hours after that. And thus far (meaning the last 14 days) the only time I get hungry, is when I first wake up. I'm eating so often and I don't get "hungry" so to speak. Hope this helped!

    I've been eating every few hours or so because I have trouble making it past 1200 calories, so I have to make an effort in order to get there. I'll have breakfast about an hour or so after I wake up and exercise, then 2 or 2 1/2 hours after that I usually have an ounce or so of nuts, then two hours after that is lunch and etc. I do see there are some people here who are able to eat whenever they want to and still see progress but so far I haven't been able to have the same luck hehe.
