Food commercials

I wish food commercials could be removed from my TV. If I muted the TV every time one came on I may as well turn it off (which may not be a bad idea, except I have some favorite shows, and love watching football and hockey).

The one I'm really sick of seeing is the (new?) one for Golden Corral where the 2 couples are in the car and the couple in the back jump out because the husband doesn't want to share his appetizer. Like that guy needs to eat an entire appetizer anyway....

Anyone else bothered by food commercials? Got a most hated commercial?

    Tivo or DVR isa great option for avoiding commercials. I despise commercials!! You can really take advantage of DVR's and Tivos for this very reason. Not to mention you can save a lot of time..you can watch 3 shows in the time it takes to normally watch 2..

    I've seen the Golden Corral commercial, however they have the worst tasting food ever. No commercial of theirs could ever entice me to go eat there.

    I'll take them, along with tampon and douche ads, in exchange for TV being free (beyond any service fees you may have with your cable/satellite provider).

    I don't mind advertising, I am just tired of seeing food commercials.
