Protein Powers, what to choose?

I have been using Herbalife's protein power. The gluten free kind. It is made from rice, pea and sesame proteins. I want to switch to using whey protein. Since I have problems with cow's milk would it be better for me to do the whey isolate? Any one you would recommend? I'm looking for one that is low in sugar.

I bought the Jillian Micheals ones... My bootcamp instructor who is a personal trainer said that one was okay ... I found it at walmart. I haven't tasted it yet though... I'll let ya know if its any good.
She recommended Advocare or something like that as the one she likes but named off a few others like the JM one which is what I bought since it was @ 10 bucks and easy to find at Walmart.. ANywho thats where I am with that0 -
I choose the power of earth! Erm, but more seriously, I hear that 100% whey protein is the way to go.0

Whey protein isolate is fine for many who are lactose intolerant, or have problems with milk fats, as it is the protein from milk largely stripped from carbs and fats. Many WPI's have added lactase to help you digest what residual lactose remains in the product and whatever you consume alongside it at the time.
So I would try a WPI, unless you are sensitive or allergic to casein or milk proteins. In this instance WPI is definitely not recommended.0 -

i have Super advanced 100% whey protein from Body Fortress...its about $14 at Walmart and it doesn't taste bad for me. I can be sensitive to milk, but this stuff doesnt bother me at all. It tastes even better with fat free milk. (if your able to have that?)
Also, its low in sugar and carbs, with 26g of protein a scoop. very useful0 -
