New to MFP, not new to weight loss attempts! Looking to meet

Hi everyone!
This is my story: I've been overweight since I was about 6. Before that, I was tiny! According to my Dad, the weight started to pile on when I got my tonsils removed when I was 5. (Hey! They let you eat nothing but ice cream and popsicles.) I did alot of yo-yo dieting and weight loss gimicks when I was a teen. I finally reached a high of 225 when I was 17 years old. (I'm only 5'4"!) So I finally decided to do something about it. I dropped alot of weight when I received a home version of Dance Dance Revolution for Christmas in 2005. I lost about 25 pounds in a few months with no change to my diet and just working out whenever I felt like it.
I maintained my weight around 168-175 for about 4 years. When I quit my job and started going to school full-time, the weight slowly started to creep back up again. Now I'm almost done my degree and my weight has gotten back up over 200 pounds! I am so ashamed that I allowed myself to re-gain the weight I promised I never would! I got big plans for the future and I want to lose weight for all of them (graduation, new job, wedding, babies, my whole future!)
I've been a SparkPeople member for many years but now I want to try something new!
I just got the MFP app for my iPhone and I'm already addicted to it! I'd really like to meet some new friends on here who will keep my inspired and motivated!
