Just had to share!

I have two teens and they are obsessed with One Tree Hill. They have all 8 seasons and up to last week, I had watched a couple episodes with them, but haven't had time. So, New Years Day, I was not well, and I started on season 1 with one of my daughters. Hooked.

So, I decided to turn this into a way to encourage exercise. I only watch it when I'm working out. I've set up a computer monitor that I can see from the treadmill and eliptical, and I watch an episode each morning. This has been a huge incentive for me - I even work out 10-15 min longer to catch an ending!

    I also watch my favourite programs. It used to be Charmed but on SkyLiving but Season 8 finished on Thursday so now it's season 2 of Cougar Town, when that's finished it'll be season 2 then 3 of Drop Dead Diva.

    If I don't have anything recorded to watch I revert back to my DVD's of Friends and Desperate Housewives.

    I can go a whole hour on the cross trainer without batting an eye lid. Lol. x

    I intentionally do not watch my favorite shows: One Tree Hill, The Challenge, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, I Used To Be Fat, Dance Moms, Army Wives, Glee, and a few others until later while I'm working out.. That way I know I get a full hour in- I don't even fast forward through the commercials because I want the full hour :)

  • I'm watching One Tree Hill rightnow....except I can't watch other shows during my workout b/c I do TurboFire...but that's a great motivation.
