    Hi,

May your thyroid is over active, rather than under active.

Thank you for this advice, wasn't aware of this, I drink a lot of tea, so maybe my problem, wasn't aware that because of the thyrodism the body would store first.

    Thanks again.

I have an under-active thyroid. It was diagnosed 16 months ago, when my 2nd child was 8 months old. Got it from my pregnancy with her.

My meds are apparently fine, but I still can't shake the last 5kgs to get to my goal. Damn annoying! At the moment I'm finding I'm having neither lose nor gain, but I think that's due to my lack of exercise. But annoyingly, I can get within 3kgs of my goal and never closer. I know my contraception doesn't help. But I don't reckon for me, that's it's true that once the meds are right, you thyroid function and weight loss is just like normal. I struggle heaps to lose weight. My energy levels mostly suck and even when meds at the exact right dose, I still get moody and depressed.

Anyway. Feel free to add me.
