Just looking for some thoughts on why I really am not losing any weight. I am following the 1400 calorie meal plan... even inputing a bunch of recipes I use with some modifications. I am also doing 10 Minute Trainer and logging the calories I burn (from my heart rate monitor) as well. I've lost like .4 pounds in the last 2 weeks... don't get it! Very frustrated! Any thoughts?

Can't tell anything without your food diary. Please open to public.0

usually it means you aren't recording properly. you may be overestimating the calories you burn from exercise or underestimating the calories you consume in food and drinks, or both.0

You only have 21 pounds to lose.. so it's going to come off slow.
Keep your loss at a pound a week or less, make sure to drink water and eat back your exercise calories.
1400 doesn't seem like a lot.. esp for a male. So I'd look into upping that number.0 -
MFP has 2lbs a week set for the highest weight loss in a week. So it seems your on track but I agree you should open your diary to know for sure. Your next time you weigh it could be more keep pushing!0

^^This. Plus make sure you aren't eating below your BMR. Fitnessfrog.com can help determine BMR and TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) if you don't have a BodyBugg or HRM (or means/desire to get one).0 -
I have read that losing faster than 2 pounds a week will mean lean muscle loss also. You may be Losing at the perfect rate. I don't know if this is true but once I lost very quickly and my muscle tone went to crap. I had a friend who lost so quickly, her skin couldn't keep up and she had surgery to remove quite a bit. Best of luck to you!0

I would say 2 weeks is not enough time to start worrying.
It takes time, practice and learning about what foods and exercises fit you.
The most weight you should lose per week is 2 pounds anyways!
Did you weight yourself first thing in the morning? Water weight, lots of salt?0 -
4 lbs is nothing to scoff at! It's only been 2 weeks. I took a look at your diary and there are a lot of processed foods, and they are repeated a lot. Cut back on processed stuff, go more natural and drink lots of water. Add an exercise regimen if you haven't already.0
