    Thanks to the OP for the info! That is crazy!!! I don't even use tampons anymore, though. This is probably TMI, but a menstrual cup is way better for the environment and doesn't contain these crazy chemicals!!!

    Yep, menstrual cup is the way to go! I use a DivaCup. Got it from http://www.divacup.com/ after seeing one in my local health food store. (they didn't have the one I needed in stock at the time, plus I wanted to research it before buying.)

    Has changed my life! Just make sure that you choose the correct size.

    I love how everyone wants to share what method they use. (I like the cups as well.) But... what chemicals are you referring to?

    Glad I don't use tampons. Yay for super light periods that only require a liner!

    urgh my first couple of days are horrible........i have to use the overnight pads......it sucks

    Well I credit my light periods to my Mirena IUD. I used to have heavy ones. I can't use tampons anymore though after having my daughter...it feels 'funny' now if I do.

    I love having a Mirena coil... 4th year with next to nothing on the period front! :)

    Aww, I love that other people use cups! I :heart: my mooncup. Less pain and shorter periods!
