at my diary and let me know if I am on the right track. I just started tracking here the 5th of January and I am trying really hard to change my lifestyle when it comes to health and fitness - I just find it difficult to know if I am heading in the right direction. Some words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Well, it looks like you're eating pretty healthy, but that Montreal seasoning (which probably isn't too often) was like 1300+ in sodium which put you over the 2500. I have mine set to 1700 and I try to not even hit that. You can make your own seasoning blends to avoid all that MSG and salt. Otherwise looked great.

I think it looks great. Don't you love those Laughing Cow cheeses? I just had one!!
  • I didn't even see the sodium for that spice....OMG. I am usually really good with sodium too. The things you find out doing this.

I love laughing cow! I usually put them on crispbread. Yummy.

    Thanks for taking a look.

i would take a look at your sugars as well. You ate quiet a bit of added sugar today. I normally don't look at sugar when it comes from nature (milk, fruit, veggies) but when it comes from cereal, cupcakes, etc. you can go over pretty easy.

Yes, until joining this site, I had NO IDEA how much sodium was in EVERYTHING....even bread. I have learned a lot about food since joining here.

I also think if you are interested in changing your eating habits, you need to be looking at adding more fruits and veggies in to your diet.

5'4 and if I stretch my neck - just a bit taller :)

I agree. I do eat more veggies than I do fruit. Today I had salad, cauliflower, mushrooms and shallots with my lunch, cucumber and zucchini but no fruit in there at all.

Agree with the suggestion of more fruits/veggie, but the avocado is very rich, don't forget.

Zucchini sounds wonderful, do you like egg plant?
