While at work I usually only have about a minute to eat in between my clients, so I need something really quick that doesn't need a fridge. I'm tired of eating protein bars! Ideas? :)

Go Ahead Crispy Slices are really delicious! They have a few carbs in them but they really hit the spot!

    Hi,

I am the queen of snacks that are ready on the fly and can last in the car.

Fruits of all kinds are naturally portable- apples, bananas, pears, oranges, grapes...
Veggies work well too- cucumber, celery, carrots, bell peppers...
Nuts and seeds- almonds, sunflower seeds, walnuts, pecans...
    Rice cakes and crackers
Single serve peanut butter packets or even the jar and a spoon!
    Applesauce
    Popcorn
    Larabars- they are sooo delicious!!
    Dried fruit- raisins, apricots, apples...
Cereal that isn't crazy sugary- I love Kix!
Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches are great- you can cut them up into 4s and snack on them!

    Good luck!

Home made muffins or muesli/fruit bars.
Crackers, nuts, grapes, cherry tomatoes, peanut butter sandwich, vegmite sandwich.

I bought some really yummy treats from Woolworths (Australia) the other day - they are called Date and coconut rolls and the ingredients were: dates, coconuts. A bit high calorie (60 cals for one little roll) but good as a quick snack or sugar hit and better than chocolate!

Fantastic! And I like the idea of cutting the pb and j into 4's. Seriously, why didn't I think of that sooner? So simple! Thanks :)

veggie straws or apple straws ..you get 38 a serving!
    almonds
Right now I am on the clementine kick
    Your favorite dry cereal
  • Great ideas so far... some I grab at my office

    Pistachios
    Apple with peanut butter
    Crackers with hummus
    Pretzels
Oranges (I am on a kick also)

I am not a sandwich fan, so instead at lunch I grab a cup of low sodium soup (I take a can of soup and divide it into two days) and if I haven't eaten it earlier my apple with peanut butter.
