Calories burned without moving - HRMs

Does anybody know if HRMs subtract the amount of calories that would normally be burned if the person were just sitting in an armchair from a total gained during a workout?
For instance, if I were sitting, watching TV for an hour and burned, say, 50 calories (just to keep my heart beating and body working etc) and then for the next hour I went for a run and burned 600 calories, is that 50 calories that I WOULD have burned without moving automatically subtracted?

No it's not.. and really, there is no need to subtract them.
HRM's are only 80% accurate when set up properly anyway... so might as well just take what you got and leave a few extra over if you are that worried.0 -
Bump not sure... Myfitnesspal seems to not subtract them at all0

No, they usually do not subtract them. That's why they still show you burning calories while sitting absolutely still. I recommend that you either eat only part of your exercise calories (maybe 60-70%) or deduct the BMR calories from them (BMR divided by 1440 = calories burned per minute X minutes exercised)0
