not losing any pounds

soooo....Basically about a year ago I ate WHATEVER I wanted WHENEVER I wanted. I was 128 pounds of barely any muscle.
Now I keep what I eat in numerous diaries and gave myself only 1500 calories a day to eat...plus I work out everyday burning 300-400 calories extra.
I lost weight and got down to 123. But now Im back up to 127. Im not satisfied with my results and am definitely confused on how I am not losing a pound every week if im cutting calories plus exercising. And I rarely eat my exercise calories.

It is SO super important to eat your exercise calories! You are using extra energy to exercise and not fueling your body in return, so it is slowing down (no weight loss). I hope this helps and PLEASE eat your exercise calories!0

Here is a discussion on why eating exercise calories are important in fueling your body.

you have very little weight to lose which means that its going to be very difficult to lose. if i were you, i would switch to half of a pound a week.0

I agree with every post above me - you are already at a decently low weight; the more you weigh, the more you burn. You also do have to eat your exercise calories (I found this out the hard way by not losing weight when dieting and working out) because if you don't, your body goes into "starvation mode" and basically does nothing. So eat those calories you burn! It may not make sense (it doesn't make sense to me either) but it works. Trust me.0

you need to switch up your work out routine0

You said that you were 128 pounds with barely any muscle but now you work out every day and weigh 127 pounds. I would be willing to bet that you are more toned and probably still in the same or even a smaller size than when you started.
If I were you, I'd examine what is so important about those 5 pounds. Based on your pictures you are beautiful and slender. You're exercising everyday so I'm assuming you are healthy and have good energy.
Maybe you should concentrate on maintaining and staying fit and forget about those 5 pounds. You are well within a healthy weight.
Just my opinion and I hope I don't offend anyone but I think that we, as women, tend to focus too much on the numbers and not enough on the ultimate goal which is to be healthy and to be happy with ourselves.0 -
Hi
I'm just going to echo what another poster said...how do u FEEL?
Even though the scale isn't exactly where you want it to be, since working out are u feeling more toned/stronger?
I would try to focus less on the scale and more on your body
I also agree what another poster said, that if u have been doing the same work-out for a while, you may need to break things up a bit....try a new class or DVD...try jogging....
Good luck!
