Urinary Tract Infection from Cycling?

I suppose the question is mostly geared towards ladies, but has anyone ever suffered from a UTI due to long amounts of time spent in a bike saddle. I'm 99% certain that is what gave me mine, and want to know if there is any way to avoid this without giving up my long bike rides!
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hey! I'm so sorry that happened to you! Cycling is awesome and I totally believe this could have happened from the seat. Was this a borrowed bike by any chance? I would wear a panty liner to protect yourself from any bacteria lurking on the seat. Good luck!
PS: Cranberry supplements do a great job at curing UTIs. They have a lot of Vitamin C and they make an acidic environment in your bladder that kills all the bacteria.
Hope you feel better soon!0
