I am looking for an elliptical machine I can use at home (and is economical). Any suggestions?
I found this combo elliptical/bike one at Amazon--does anyone know about this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002JB40JU/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER
I appreciate all feedback!
Thanks--Sharon

I LOVE my Livestrong Elliptical 8.0. I bought it at ****sSportingGoods. It has levels I will never reach but I know I will never grow out of it either. Compared to the ones at the gym it kicks my butt!! I love it....did I mention I love it?0

I have a Sole E35, and it is the best investment I have ever made! I LOVE it! You can adjust the incline and the resistance, and there are several pre-programmed workouts to use. LOVE it!!0

Is it this one?

It is $800 at Amazon. Is that the price I should expect to pay for a good one?0 -

I bought this as a christmas present for myself. I got it at Sears for 599. Now let me tell you. I have been a gym member since 2005 and this machine is on the same scale as those. I LOVE it. It's even got an ipod dock which is very handy. I can't tell you if the calorie count is accurate because I use an HRM but I love it!0 -

The Sole E35 is $1300 at Amazon:

I bought the older version of this one from Walmart about 3 years ago and am very happy with it, Got it on sale and they took a competitors coupon for gym equipment so I got it for under 350.

I have a Horizons Series EX-33. I run miles and miles on it, during the the winter months especially, and it has held up beautifully for the last 4 years It was around $700.00 I think but if you use it all the time like I do, it is well worth it. It is sturdy, has enough settings to keep things interesting, and a fan to keep me a little cooler. I sits by my side of the bed so that I can't ever ignore it! You may have to check Amazon out and read some reviews about the latest models.0

What is your opinion?0 -
This may not be a bad idea for a few reasons (I originally thought NO WAY, but . . .)--1, my house is SMALL and don't really know where I could comfortably put a full size machine, even if it does fold-up; 2. Cost--this is at Amazon for $85--FABULOUS; 3. I can do this in front of the TV, or anywhere else I choose; 4. It does have good reviews . . .
Would love to be able to actually TRY tho before I bought it . . . .0 -
I did tons and tons of research before I bought the Livestrong Elliptical 13.0E for $1200. I know it's out of the price range gr8grl68 was looking for, but if you're in the market, you can't beat the quality for that price. I am totally in love with this machine and use it 6 days a week. Be sure to supplement with a heart rate monitor. I recommend Polar. I have the FT60 and it's amazing, but might be overkill for someone just doing elliptical.0
