Food scale shopping help

I am about to buy my first food scale. I am wanting an electronic one, but not wanting to break the bank. I understand that you get what you pay for, but surely there's one out there that works well and isn't too expensive. What type do you use, and where did you get it? Do you love it, or do you wish you had gotten a different one? Thank you for your help

Mine is a Salter scale. http://www.salterhousewares.com/salter_us/catalog-us/kitchen-scales/disc-electronic-kitchen-scale.html
I bought it at the local drug store, on sale for $30.00. So far, I love it.0 -
I bought mine from WM- less than $10- it's NOT digital but it's very accurate, and it measures in 1 oz. increments. I wasn't sure if I'd even use it...and figured if I found it helpful, I'd buy a digital one LATER.....
never even thought about replacing it with one now.......this one suits me just fine.
Just a suggestion....0 -
Thank you! I mainly want one with a tare function that can measure in grams. I am trying to find a Bed Bath & Beyond coupon I know is in one of my magazines because I think they might have some scales worth checking out. By the time I find it, it's going to be expired knowing my luck :grumble:0

I have the Perfect Portions scale, and I am obsessed with it!!! To tare it, all you do is put your container on it, press "zero" then add the food - it has grams and ounces, and comes with a book of codes so you can get nutritional info for TONS of food items!!! Check on Amazon!!!

I've been using this one since early summer. Love it!! Even took it on vacation with me since we were in a cabin and cooked all of our meals.

I got mine for $20 at Walmart. Worth every penny! Has a tare function and mesures in grams, ounces, lbs, and kgs. Just don't use it next to a microwave while it's on...it acts a bit possessed.0
