New and looking for friends to keep me on track

I have been on MFP for two weeks. I have only been serious over the last week. I have been reading some of the message boards for the last couple of days and have found them motivating. I'm a 34 y/o male who is looking to lose 40-50 lbs. by the 4th of July. Looking for new friends to keep me on track and kick me in the butt if needed. I personally dont know anyone else doing this right now. I never have a problem starting off motivated, sustaining it has usually been a different story.

I have sooooooo been there. I start out with a bang and then fizzle out. Good luck and if you want to add me as a friend give me a shout.0

OK CAWStar - Gary here - ready to be your MFP friend - older than you by 20 years and looking to lose the same amount as you by roughly the same time.0

Yep me too started out awesome back in November and now I'm fizzled out...I know I need to get back on the horse but I'm having a hard time motivating myself...I know I need to especially IF I'm wanting to fit into my goal dress that I bought over the summer to fit in this summer and hopefully it'll be too big.0
