Well, diatician lady was spot-on. She basically finished my sentences and guessed what i have been going through. I need to pair protein and carbs with the right balance. So it's kinda tricky and will take some practice, but i have an idea and some papers that give me a hint of how much to try. I have to eat at least 6 times a day and have to set an alarm so i dont forget and get behind. Once my sugar is low, it is very difficult to raise it again. A crap ton of fiber is key also. I hope I at least feel better! Does anyone else have this? and what are you doing? i went from eating 3000 cals a day to 1800 and gained 25 lbs in about 3 months. Biiig mistake! lol But this is how i learned why i have been feeling so crappy for the last 15 years. Maybe the FM will go away, if not, fine, as long as i start to feel better.

Good luck with this! I haven't heard of this before but it sounds like a struggle. I work with diabetic patients all the time but this is something new to me! I don't know if this would help, but could you carry a water bottle with a sugared drink, like kool aid or gatorade, or fruit juice, and sip every so often? Do you check your sugars a certain amount of times each day?0

So, what happens is: when i eat carbs, or other sugars, my pancreas over reacts and sends too much insulin. It pulls my sugar donw sometimes to like 40 or so although usually around 60. I guess i have to eat any carbs or sugars with a large amount of protein, preferably with fiber and a little fat. ie: dave's killer bread with some peanut butter (1 tbs) and a low sugar, or artificial sugar high protein yogurt. then for lunch, its a good idea to have a LOT of meat in that samich. or cheese. fat, protein, and fiber slow down the digestion so the sugar does not have a chance to over run my system. it enters the blood slowly and my pancrease does not panic. the bummer is my body HAS to have complex carbs. that is what it uses as fuel. otherwise, i could just use the diabetic diet.0
