Dry throat during exercise

So! I finally started Insanity today, but had a lot of difficulty doing it due to an extreme dry throat while working out... in fact, it wasn't just a dry throat but it felt like the dryness extended even deeper towards the lungs. There wasn't any difficulty breathing in the sense that there was no inflammation, it was just really dry.
I'm posting to ask if it'd be weird to workout with a humidifier?

How much water are you drinking? You may be a little dehydrated.0

I'm sure that's part of the problem as well, I'm already working on upping my water intake... idk, I just feel like that won't completely solve the problem,0

The heating in your home may be a factor also.0

Why not use a humidifier? Wouldn't hurt anything.
Also, maybe some sugar-free gum while you work out. That helps me.0 -
I don't think gum is a good idea with Insanity is a good idea lol. Drink water during your workout (and not just when the guy tells you too) and that should solve your problem.0

Yeah, go the humidifier. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. If it works, then all the better for you.0
