Any song sung by Gwen Stefani or Aimee Echo* motivates me. I'm a singer so when one of their songs comes on my iPod I think about what those ladies look like on stage and how I want those rockin' bodies. Makes me push harder!

*bonus points for anyone who knows who Aimee Echo is and loves her music. You MUST friend me. :)

AGREE! I saw No Doubt in concert 2 summers ago and Gwen Stefani has one of the most AMAZING bodies ever. TOTAL MOTIVATION!

Also i love Lynard Skynards freebird,

    If I leave here tomorrow
    Would you still remember me?
For I must be traveling on, now
'Cause there's too many places I've got to see
But, if I stayed here with you, girl
Things just couldn't be the same
'Cause I'm as free as a bird now
And this bird you can not change
And this bird you can not change
And this bird you can not change
    Lord knows, I can't change

Bye, bye, baby it's been a sweet love
Though this feeling I can't change
But please don't take it so badly
'Cause Lord knows I'm to blame
But, if I stayed here with you girl
Things just couldn't be the same
'Cause I'm as free as a bird now
And this bird you can not change
And the bird you can not change
And this bird you can not change
    Lord knows, I can't change
Lord help me, I can't change

    Lord I can't change
Won't you fly, free bird, yeah

That was my high school graduation song :-)

Songs that motivate me aren't about the lyrics as much as the beat and the way they make me feel... Here's my current favorite:

Little lion man - Mumford and sons

Sexy and I know it - LMFAO

    Levels- Avicii

Use Somebody - Kings of Leon

    Good Feeling - Flo Rida

I would do anything for you - Foster the people.

Dog days are over - Florence + the machine

    Ghosts n stuff - Deadmau5

The Middle by Jimmy Eat World

Hey, don't write yourself off yet
It's only in your head you feel left out or looked down on.
Just try your best, try everything you can.
And don't you worry what they tell themselves when you're away.

It just takes some time, little girl you're in the middle of the ride.
Everything (everything) will be just fine, everything (everything) will be alright (alright).

Hey, you know they're all the same.
You know you're doing better on your own, so don't buy in.
    Live right now.
    Yeah, just be yourself.
It doesn't matter if it's good enough for someone else.

It just takes some time, little girl you're in the middle of the ride.
Everything (everything) will be just fine, everything (everything) will be alright (alright).
It just takes some time, little girl you're in the middle of the ride.

Hey, don't write yourself off yet.
It's only in your head you feel left out or looked down on.
Just do your best, do everything you can.
And don't you worry what the bitter hearts are gonna say.

It just takes some time, little girl you're in the middle of the ride.

It really motivates me and is great to work out to.

This song came on my iPod when I was on mile 4 of my first 10 mile race and it totally motivated me to keep going. It was awesome! And perfect timing.

"Livin' on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi. It's always on my race mixes.
Also, "Where the Devil Don't Stay" by Drive-By Truckers. It's one of my favorite songs and the beat makes me want to run faster.

Another song that motivates me that no one would know is by a band called Steve Brown and the Bailers- a blue grass band from Alaska that my brother is in. They wrote a song called "Virginia Rose" after my daughter by the same name was born. Nothing like a song named for your child to get you going. :)
