My work out partner April and I tried something new today... Just wanting to share... We were looking at the list of exercises and saw roller bladding.. I have never been and she has... any how we went this morning ....IT WAS SO FUN... of course me being the cluts that I am I did fall and skin my knee but it felt great... SO DON'T BE AFRAID TO TRY SOMETHING NEW!

Tell me about it we bought roller skates for my son last year and he couldn't do it so I decided that I would buy myself some roller blades to show him and I did that showed him how to fall I had to fight the tears I landed on my my knee and damaged the nerves it swelled up like a balloon but he needed to see that mummy falls over as well as him and it was Ok They used to put stoppers at the front when I last had a pair but I had to retrain my feet that the stopper was at the back fine now and we have gr8 fun I even take the dog we taught him a stop command we get a few funny looks but hey I don't care it is gr8 fun I love being able to play with my son.
Anyone tried waveboarding (land surfing) boy does that work your body especially when going uphill. My son wanted to get the wave board and it is soooo hard but when you get the hang of it it really works up a sweat uses core and legs and arms for balance when I was practising I fell off right in front of my next door neighbour how embarrassing:embarassed:
Hears to inhibitions and to that child that lives inside us all.

I love roller skating...I used to be on the speed team at my local rink. It's a great workout, and a great way for me to spend time with my kids.0

Yes it was fun!I hope we can do it often! Perfect work out for the butt and thys. I'm still sore LOL!0
