How do you include nursing in your calorie intake...

I know that I am suppposed to take in extra calories because I am breastfeeding. But I'm not sure how many, and how to include that here. I have been tracking my exercise and food for the last week and I was really upset that I was ALWAYS doing sooo badly, but I didn't feel like I was overeating. But then I realized I wasn't accounting for the nursing. So...any suggestions on how you would include that here on the site?

I am not really sure - but I remember when I was nursing - I was told to consume at least 500 extra calories - that was when I was nursing around the clock. I would think that as the amount of times you nurse goes down - so should your caloric intake. . . Again, It has been years since I have nursed - but that is what I remember. . . hope it helps. . .0
