Hi! New to the forums

Hi! I'm Chrissy. I've been using myfitness pal for a while now, but am just now checking out the forums. I was hoping to find some support buddies that need motivation exercising, it's my biggest problem. I like to ride my bicycle or do a workout on my wii because those activities are fun... it makes it easier to enjoy my workout. What ways do you make working out more fun? Any tips?

  • Hi, I've been using MFP since September but also only just checking out the forums. I haven't managed to get my bike out of the shed this year yet, but that, the wii and squash are my exercise choices. Unfortunately I'm having problems kicking myself off the sofa and onto the wii at the moment. Seeing my hubby making an effort to get out and exercise does make me feel guilty though.

    I think what is helping me is I am just finally motivated. I also look forward to receiving comments from my friends here. It encourages me to keep on moving. But unless you check in daily it won’t help. Also each time I make progress like lose a pound it keeps me motivated. I know it’s more difficult for women sometimes but in the end if you manage what you eat and control your calories plus exercise you will lose weight. It just seems to take longer for women. You are still quite young so you have that on your side. It gets much more difficult as you age but not impossible. Please add me if you would like some motivation and support. I am very active and very serious about getting my weight under control but I also have a great sense of humor. ;-)
