Just wanted to say hello to all, and good luck! Today is my first day on this site but not my first day on my diet. It asked me what my weight was today and today my weight is 423 lb's. I started my diet on April 2, 2009 and my weight was 465.5. I'm on a Dr. watched 800 cal. liquid diet...yummy! LOL I have had my good day's and my bad, just like every other human out there, but I will never give up. I'm going to lose the weight this time! It's really kind of exciting to see something working for the first time in year's. Also, if anyone look's at the 3 pic's that I have posted of myself by chance, I didn't pick those because my granddaughter is in them, I picked those because it was the only time I would let someone take a pic. of me!! I did find some of me by myself at Christmas of last year, but they are still on my camera. (I have moved away from granddaughter, no reason to take pic's anymore!!) If I ever get them of the camera I will post 1 or 2. I really hate to because they are so awful, but I have to know where I've been to see where I'm going! Believe me, I will be posting more pic's as I lose weight!! LOL

Hi Katlacy,
This is my first with this website and am so excited about it. I've been on all sort of diets before and have managed to keep 15 pounds off since joining Weight Watchers. I just wanted to try to lose some additional weight on my own and am hoping this website will help. I currently weigh 149 pounds but for someone who is short this is still alot of weight.

Welcome to the site Kat. I also got my Mom to join me here. She's gone up and down so many times it's hard to watch. When I was a kid and she was losing we used to have a hug test where I would see how far I could get my arms around her. Best of luck to you and hopefully you have someone to give you a hug test.0

You have done something wonderful for yourself by joining MFP. You are not the only one here with so much weight to lose. Read the threads on "Motivation and Support" and find a group to join and check in with every day.
