Kickboxing

I'm so excited b/c i'm going to start my first class of kickboxing tonight!! Has anyone taken a class so i can get a warning about what i'm getting into?!?!

  • Im not gonna lie I acually vomitted mid kick boxing class once!!!! But felt incredible when I was able to make it threw without stopping!! Good luck and dont give up!!:flowerforyou:

    Yikes that is scary, make sure i keep an eye on how i'm feeling haha!! I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow :)!!
  • I think it was just a shock to my body to have to work that hard!! Just take it at your own pace!! Good luck!

    I almost puked a couple times in a kickboxing class too. It's definately a shock to the system.
    Pace yourself and if you like it, stick with it...great results.

    LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT! :heart: Ease into it & you'll do just fine. Listen to your body & drink a lot of water. Have fun!

    My husband is taking one and he says it is a buttkicker. Watch out if you do sparring with a partner, you can get seriously hurt!

    I did pace myself that was GOOD ADVICE no sense in killing myself when i know i'm gonna go back for more!! It was awesome!! Thanks for the help!! :)
  • I want to try kickboxing. It would burn lots of calorie since it's using big muscles.
    When my left knee feels better, I will try kickboxing

    I love my kickboxing! Best thing I ever did for myself! Make sure you are not dehydrated at all or feeling even a little weasy....I almost passed out once because I tried to go when I didn't feel well. Not worth that! It really works those inner thighs and tummy muscles! Great all around workout!
