How to Get Out of a Rut

So today I have just thought about all the horrible food I have eaten in the past week. Why? Well, things have not been going as planned. My grandmother had a stroke last Wednesday night. She still can't move her right arm or leg. Ever since then we have been busy with trying to get bills paid for her, her house cleaned, visit her at the hospital, etc. Between that and work. . .where apparently it's cool for almost everyone to call in every day, it's been crazy busy and stressful for me. So it's eat what I can grab as I go to take care of stuff. It worries me because I am absolutely terrified of gaining my weight back. Not only am I terrified of that, but I am also terrified about my health. High blood pressure, heart problems, diabetes, strokes. . .all run in my family. Right now I am good health wise, but I am so afraid that if I'm not careful, I will end up with some bad health issues. I just needed to vent. Maybe I should have written a blog. . .

isnt that why we are here? its ok..you should write a blog too sounds like u have alot of stress atm..however dont let it beat ya! you can do it you have lost the weight and stil losing just try to be prepared store some snacks at work/car ..dont think of what u ate last week this is a new day! instead of eating when ur stressed get some pen and paper and write how you are feeling..or get a picture on ur phone of someone/something that was/is ur motivation for ur weight loss..you are not alone people have bad things happen in their lives at some point and turn to food as comfort..ive been there but its the choices you make that determind your future just ask yourself do you need this bad convience food or can you choose something else. things in moderation aren't bad..just get your motivation back! you need ur health and ur health needs you..!! good luck! you can do it..x0

So sorry you are going through a stressful time. I am a stress eater in a major way. I am going to try to just keep a journal and write instead of eat when I feel the stress come on. You have so much impact on your health by the choices you make today. I try to remind myself of that when I worry about the diseases that run in my family. Diet and exercise can really make all the difference. Try to put out a few reminders that will keep you on track now. I put a bowl of citrus on my kitchen counter. It helps give me a visual cue of what I should be reaching for. I tried the bikini on the door, but it just made me feel bad. Hope you are in a better place soon. Take care.0
