It's the problem area for most people.. I lost 10lb's last summer but got a little disheartened because I didn't notice a big change in my stomach/belly area.
So.. I was just wondering whether anybody had any useful exercise or food tips for getting rid of or at least slimming down of the belly area.
This is my first post so any replies are much appreciated![:) :)](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/smile.png)

I've always heard on here and else where to do plenty of cardio to burn fat and it will come off wherever it comes off, but eventually you will get the belly area too.Cardio and strength combo is the best.0

This is a fact. There are no excersizes that allow you to localize the fat that you are burning. So do your cardio, and do your total body workouts and let the fat burn off. eventually it will be the belly fat that goes away.
That being said it never ever hurts to do plenty of core excercise ( planks, burpees, russian twist, Medicine ball wall ball throws, wood choppers etc,,) in order to strengthen the muscle that supports your spine. By doing this you stand up taller, look leaner and most importantly improve your self image and confidence !!!0 -
Try Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred DVD. Her ab exercises really help. Check out the before and after photos on this board.0
