Has anyone out there taken corn out of your diet? Including corn fed beef, chicken, fish. HFCS and all the corn based fillers and everything!!!

Why? It wouldn't make a difference. Well, it would, but only in that it would make it harder to stick to.

I feel like a "feed lot cow" There is corn in everything! I don't know if I have an allergy or just an intolerance to corn. I know I'm getting way to much in my diet and I was wondering what results others have had from taking it out of their diet

Why not just eat less corn?

Does eating corn make you feel weird or something?
  • My daughter has due to a food intolerance/allergy. It is extremely difficult. There are some support blogs on line that can help.

I recommend you write a book about it and start a movement. It can be the next low-carb type of craze. And you will make millions!

I don't lose weight with regular diet and exercise. I don't think corn is meant to be a major part of our diet, yet it is and we don't know it. I just began not eating corn fed meat and corn fillers and HFCS. I will post my findings in a week.

It's everywhere!!! To eat less corn you have to not eat the things corn is put into in the form of fillers and corn syrup and beef from corn fed cows. We're overdosing on corn. It's in things like toothpaste and in the coating on fruits and vegetables and in bread and on and on and on.

Bourbon is made from at least 51% Corn. That's where I stand on a corn-free diet.

Perhaps you could look into Gluten free diet - I know there are a lot of folks who have derived benefit from going glutten-free, and that their bodies feel much better because of it.

Personally, I love corn and stuff made with corn, so I wouldn't be able to give it up.

Really? Does your body really defy the laws of nature and some how magically maintain weight indefinitely when you're in a calorie deficit.

ANYONE can lose weight with a reasonable diet and with exercise so long as they are burning more calories than they consume. Some lose faster than others, but anyone can do it.

This corn fed kick you're on is just another gimmick. Unless you've got an allergy to corn, there is no reason to avoid it. Even if you do have an allergy to corn, there's no reason to avoid corn fed beef or other meat from corn fed animals. It's not like the corn exists anymore once they've eaten it and broken it down into it's composite parts.

Now that is just plan silly. I have a corn allergy, just a slight one and the only thing that bothers me is actual corn and corn syrup. If you had a major allergy you would have been in the hospital by now.

If you really want to know if you have a sensitivity to something, GO TO THE DOCTOR!! Get allergy tests. There is very little that is passed from an animals digestive tracked that is in the meat you eat.

I think I may have been a little nicer in this post or just passed it if you actually had a logical argument. Good luck with that.
