Given that we are supposed to eat back most of our exercise calories, what do you eat when you are short at the end of the day? Lets say you burn 500-600 calories in a boot camp today but you are not hungry at night (BC you made good filling food choices during the day to match your goal) when you realize you are supposed to eat more.
What is you favorite quick and healthy 500-600 snack?

I love peanut butter too but I'd need to eat up to 4.5 Tbls to get to 500-600 calories. Do yo enjoy it that much? How much pita and hummus would I need to eat?0

Chocolate...dark....delicious.....and satisfies you in so many ways:)0

I would do a banana with 2T of peanut butter and then almonds.0

it's a good rule of thumb t eat those calories but if you're not actually hungry like tummy grumbling, then just go to sleep. but if you're like me and are hungry then I go for junk food unfortunately. night eating = no healthy choice being made (rarely)0

I am saving all my 'extra' calories for a Golden Corral all you can eat buffett. If I wait until April I should be able to spend 3 solid days there!!!! OK I am kidding. I am choosing not to eat back all my calories as I want to see progress on my weightloss a bit faster... maybe someday I will have the problem of not being hungry enough to eat 500 extra calories!!! :}0

Nachoes sounds perfect. A small plate should be about the right calories. A few corn tortilla chips, fat free refried beans, jalapeno, salsa and some reduce fat cheddar. Throw on a little leftover shredded chicken if you have it.0 -

That's why I mentioned it, I have just done exactly that, I had 600 cals to fill from a long run, so had nachos with refried beans, a tiny bit of cheese, a small avocado and a spoonful of fat free sour cream. Just about the best thing ever.0 -
You could always drink the calories - juice or milk, for instance.0
