Quick Question :)

I've only been on this "diet" for about a week now, but in the beginning I would log what I ate into the diary, log in my exercise, then be like "Oh I can eat more now!" So I did until my goal calories were reached. In the first three days is when I lost the 3lbs but now either I don't lose anything or I gain some. Now the past few days have been hectic with school starting again and working so I haven't exercised, only stayed under my calorie intake limit. Does this mean it's better to eat more as well as exercise? I'm confused!

If your daily weight is discouraging, don't weigh yourself every day. Weight fluctuates by as much as 5-10 pounds daily due to water retention and unevacuated waste. Just keep doing what you're doing and it will work. Eat to your goal and you will succeed.0

Stay consistent with your net calories. Hit as close to your target as possible (a little over or a little under is ok); many people erroneously try to stay as far below as possible. Consistency is key.

Ok so this is how it was explained to me:
You are currently eating at a deficit which means if you continue to eat at that deficit you will lose weight whether you exercise or not. When you exercise they say you are suppose to eat your exercsie calories as well because, again, you are already eating at a deficit and you will continue to lose weight.
Personally, I eat back some of my exercise calories, like maybe 25% of them most of the time, but sometimes I will eat them all back, just depends on the day and what I am eating.
right now I would just keep going strong with the diet and get in exercise when you can and wait. Healthy weightloss doesn't happen overnight, and takes time. More than likely you inital weight loss was water weight. You weight will fluctuate throughout the day and from day to day. You should really only log your weight weekly at the most, first thing in the morning, and don't let ups and down in weight get to you. Math doesn't lie: if you put in less than you burn you will lose.

I just love all of this support! Thank you guys so much! And I stopped weighing myself daily, I'm going to do just a once a week type of thing and hopefully that works out better for me

That is correct about weighing yourself. I weigh once a week on Fridays. Good Luck. I am having a hard time also.0

agreed, remember its a slow process dont push so hard you burn out but dont slack too much you get bored or give up. Its about consistent work in the gym, learning about nutrition and diet and most of all never giving up
