I am trying to add my 6oz salmon fillet to my diary but the calories range from 90 to 200 calories for a fillet! I don't remember what kind of salmon I bought unfortunately..

Look for one that has multiple user confirmations if the salmon doesn't have nutritional info on it.0

The difference is between Pacific and Atlantic salmon. Pacific salmon has more oil, therefore a much richer, moister flavor and more fat calories. Atlantic salmon has less oil, is dryer and much less flavorful. But the oil in salmon is the "good kind".0

lots of fat in salmon...good fats though...watch the sodium in fish from a box...if it is from a box? i had some highliner salmon in my freezer...it had 540mg of sodium per fillet...0 -
even if you specifically say "atlantic", there are still widely varying entries in the database.
I concur, this is aggravating, and googling hasn't helped me find a more reliable answer.0 -
nutritiondata.com or enter the calories yourself...if its fresh fish you can ask the fish counter for nutritional info or check nutritiondata.com....I enter in almost everything i eat myself. and if its a duplicate and its wrong, i correct it and it goes into "my foods" even if its write, i save it as a meal so i don't have to look again.0
