I just found this picture on Tumblr and I think it's such a cool idea!

I think it would be so motivating to move each one every time you lost a pound! I really want to do this!

    Good idea!

Also, every time you work out put a $ in a jar, then at the end of the year go shopping or spend on YOU!
  • Awesome idea!! Would especially be something fun for my young kids to watch and also help with keeping me motivated because I know they would enjoy getting to move the marbles.

I love this idea. I currently put $10 away for every pound I lost, but I think I am going to try this too!

I do pump twice a week and when I pick up my weights I think (with the smaller ones) this is how much I've already lost, and of course with the bigger ones, how incredible it will feel when I've lost that much.

I love this and feel it's something that needs to happen in my life for sure!

When I go home for the summer, maybe I will try to get my entire family to have a jar and we will race to see who can move their marbles.

  • Oh wow, now that is a good idea! could do it with £1 coins instead! Like they can't be spent until they're "lost"! x
  • WOW!!! I am going to this - what a brilliant idea. Thanks for sharing

Thank you for sharing!! I like the marbles and the cash ideas - maybe I can move enough marbles and cash for my new BATHING SUIT!!! Oh yes, I will be ready this summer.
  • That is awesome. For every 10 pounds I lose, I get a charm to add to a charm bracelet.
  • I really like this idea, thanks for the share!

Love the idea! But I wouldn't want to move the marbles back once I moved them to the pounds lost container :( Maybe if we get an electric shock when we have to move it...it would make us never slip up and eat too much for fear of what is to come LOL
