Just saw a post on facebook where fitbit and MFP are connected now. It seems really neat, might get one tomorrow. Anyone have one yet?

I checked out the website for it. and I'm very impressed with all it does. I think it is worth the $100 for all it can do. My hubby is interested in it for himself. He doesn't like work out stuff. Kinda interested in getting one to monitor my 2 year old. So curious on how many calories he burns a day. He never seems to stop.0

I think I may end up getting one. I wanted a pedometer anyways, and it does some other cool stuff too!! I am interested to compare work days vs. non work days since I work 12 hr shifts three days a week.0

I've been tossing between that and a bodybugg. the benefit of a fitbit would be that it works with MFP and its free to use this site, whereas you have to pay $10 a month after the trial for the bodybugg. i think im leaning toward the fitbit.0

Does anyone know if it would count calories burned say...in a class at the gym? cardio or muscle classes? or only stairs, steps etc? It says it has the same technology as the Wii so I'm curious. Wouldn't it make a great Valentine's gift?0

I have one but dont really use it. Actually I cannot find it at the moment. It is just a pedometer and I found that while driving it was counting steps!0

I didn't read the whole website on it, but I watched someone's personal video talking about it, and she showed how many calories she had burned that day, so it sounds like if you wear it at all times, it will calculate calories burned. I guess it reads heartrate?0 -
I received mine a few days ago and really enjoy it, especially now that I can sync it w/MFP. What I especially like it the way it tracks your activity throughout the day from steps taken (pedometer), stairs climbed, miles traveled and calories burned. The dashboarrd also provides a pretty neat activity map so you can see how senentary to how active you are throughout the day. I would say a "must have" for anyone who likes to track their numbers.
It also provides an interesting sleep feature. Not sure of the validity of it, but it measures how long you sleep and how many times you are up in the night.0 -
Body buggs are on sale for $100 and they count how many calories your burning all the time. I love mine. Its really helped because i know exactly how many calories i burned a day.0

I've been interested in them as well (and the Up by Jawbone, and Nike came out with one but it's already sold out)... but I sweat A LOT when I work out and the FitBit says you can't get it wet. So that's out.0
