I'd love some healthy recipes for dinner that taste good. I have 5 kids at home so sandwiches just don't cut it. Every recipe I use is very high in calories.

I found this recipe on the weight watchers site and thought it sounded good, easy and we already had most of the ingredients. I just tried it out tonight. I used 2 smaller pans and more chicken (there were about 4 more thighs in the pack that I had) so it took about 15-20 minutes longer to cook and instead of McCormicks rosemary I used fresh rosemary and finely chopped it. My family thought it was really good.
Rosemary Baked Chicken with Potatoes
Makes 6 servings.
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 50 minutes
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon McCormick® Paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons McCormick® Rosemary Leaves, finely crushed
1 teaspoon Sea Salt from McCormick® Sea Salt Grinder
1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Black Pepper, Coarse Ground
1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Garlic Powder
6 bone-in chicken thighs, skin removed (about 2 pounds)
1 1/2 pounds small red potatoes, halved
1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Mix oil, paprika, rosemary, sea salt, pepper and garlic powder in large bowl. Add chicken and potatoes; toss to coat well. Arrange potatoes in single layer on foil-lined 15x10x1-inch baking pan sprayed with no stick cooking spray.
2. Bake 15 minutes. Push potatoes to one side of pan. Place chicken on pan.
3. Bake 30 to 35 minutes longer or until chicken is cooked through and potatoes are tender, turning potatoes occasionally.

Try this website. I love that you can put in what ingredients you want to use: ex. chicken, rice, peas and they will give you a list of healthy recipes.

I also recommend Better Homes and Gardens Dieter's Cookbook. I have used more than half the recipes in the book and my family has loved every one of them. I think I might need a new copy soon. It's starting to grow its own food from everything I spill on it! LOL0 -
Skinnytase and Sparkpeople are great sites, I have also started a facebook group called Low Cal Recipes 2012. People take pictures and add recipes for dinners they make. Its fun your welcome to join
