I have been on other calorie counting diets before and even tried ww for a short time but nothing has worked as well as MFP for the sole reason that I can see what I'm eating by entering it online, instead of an actual food journal I have to write and do math manually lol.

I feel almost obsessed with my new lifestyle and it's just that. I don't feel like I'm on a diet at all and honestly, some days I even look forward to working out. It's weird how 7 months ago I began dieting and exercising but time has just flown by.

Anyone else feel like this is just the way things are always going to be and this is a new life for you not just a diet? I feel like I can never look at food the same and my whole attitude and even my eye for serving size has changed. I'm just amazed at how amazing everything is going and how healthy I feel on the inside.

    ME, ME, ME......I am focused!!!

I have never felt this way when I have tried to lose weight before. Being able to log online and on my phone has made this whole lifestyle change thing possible for me!!

I too find myself obsessed with MFP. For instance I am sitting here working on our yearly budget and I have MFP up on the screen just clicking and checking what is going on. =)

I love reading posts and helping others when I can. This site has been a wealth of information and I LOVE IT!!

I really really truly feel that I will succeed this time, this site is helping me make a better me!! =)

I feel the same way, although I have only been doing this for a little over 4 weeks, I love the new lifestyle. I actually enjoy working out and I agree I am almost obsessed with logging everything!!! I have lost 8lbs so far but I feel amazing so much more energy. I just hope this feeling continues. I quit smoking almost a year ago so now I need to lose the weight I gained when I quit smoking. This is a whole new world for me to get healthy and stay that way!!!!

  • I agree it is a total lifestyle change and that is why it will work. I even went through a month long vacation and still managed to lose a little. Now I think of food as fuel. I can eat a candy bar like I use to or I could have a whole small meal...hmmm...I would rather eat more. And now even when I try to have "a treat" half the time I don't even think it tastes good anymore. Or I am disappointed and only eat half because why waste my calories and effort if I am not thoroughly enjoying it?
