I use green tea extract along with other herbal supplements like red yeast rice, cinnamon, turmeric, ginger, and red wine extract. I can't say if they do anything at all for me though. I can only say they don't have any side effects. I am sticking to the most basic supplements that are already common as spices and foods. I take these simply to cover my bases but the honest truth of the matter is that there is little to no evidence any of them are beneficial other than anecdotal evidence which is worse than no evidence at all since it can lead to developing an illogical resistance to contradicting evidence that may arise at a later date.
Also, the supplements are the least expensive I can find at Walgreen's and Wal-Mart. The overpriced ones at health food stores are no different in quality according to every non-commercial unbiased source I can find. I also take fish oil, garlic oil and a chondroitin supplement but these supplements have more real world studies showing benefits.0
