Hi Myfitnesspal Community!

A friend got me on this site a few months back, but I have been struggling with some academic and eating issues. Went from 147 to 123 lbs. last year but am back to 140 due to recent stressors in life and emotional eating. Trying to get back a a healthy equilibrium (~130 lbs.) with all your help and hope to lend other like me a helping hand as well!

  • Hi there! Your weight is exactly like mine. Except I had two babies and gained SO much each time and I am still battling losing it. I know it's more than a number, but I am trying to be in the healthy BMI for my height which is 141. When I met my husband I was 125 and that is my ideal weight, bc it offers some room for mistakes. I will take 130 though! My son is three today and I am sad I have not lost all the baby weight. But, I am happy and healthy and my family is too. I just try to focus on what I'm doing right and tweak things until they work better. I recently moved to another state and got a new job, so that always throws a wrench in things. I was down to 152 before the holidays. I've been taking pictures though every month of my muffin top for encouragement bc that shows what the scale doesn't and it's pretty awesome. I am finally into my smaller jeans...I tried Body By Vii, which is two shakes a day and one meal, two snacks. It was just way too low on the calories. BUT I do love how clean it is to count calories in a shake and get veggies fruit and protein in there, so I've been making a double shake almost every day and eating one for breakfast and another for a snack for a total of 350 calories or less. Well good luck and let's rock this! Summertime is just around the corner :) ps. I know how it goes with academic issues, I studied for the bar exam after law school and got so huge it was very sad.....but it's a sacrafice!
