almonds are great for you! heart healthy fats... :-) I believe the brand is Emerald? They have a cocoa covered almonds... they are good for you in moderation (my hospital's cardiac rehab recommends them),,,, I think they also have them in 100 calorie packs.

I also will get a laughing cow wedge and some whole grain crackers... protein and fiber. Good luck!

Buy a red pepper and cut into slices. Dip into hummus. Delicious!
There's a list of 100 calorie snacks on another board...I'll see if I can find it again.

Almonds are really good for you!! As long as you eat a serving and not 5 lol. As for chocolate, I get my chocolate fix from vitatops or vitacakes. The tops have 100 calories and the cakes have 50 and they have protein and fiber and other vitamins. Usually for snacks, I have one protein smoothie which is 1 scoop protein powder mixed with 1 cup Silk fruit n protein. I have some pretzel sticks measured out in snack baggies, carrot sticks, greek yogurt, grapes, cucumbers, string cheese, laughing cow cheese wedges on Reduced Fat Ritz.

If you need chocolate, buy a bag of chocolate chips and mix them with a few nuts and dried cherries or cranberries. I do this with a glass of skim milk for my snack each night. I have a big sweet tooth and this curbs the cravings during the day since I know I have my trusty treat waiting for me.
  • Wow! You guys are awesome!! Thank you all VERY much!!! :flowerforyou:
  • This is so weird I know but I discovered the glory of picked silverskin onions, extremly low in cals and onions are good for you, and definately satisfy my need to crunch and have lots of flavour! ok my other half wont kiss me but totally worth it lmao
