I just got the 'Insanity workout' today and was reading thru the book.. They have a food section that they want you to pick from. 5 small meals a day and eating 2100 calories a day.. Do you think I HAVE to eat what theyve written or can I make my own smart choices and stay within the calorie range theyve set..

I was wondering about that as well. I have a used copy of the videos, and did not get the food guide with it. But, I'd say as long as the totals (carbs/protein/calories) resembles the food plan you'll be good.0

Yes, you can do it yourself.. but pay close attention to the nutritional values of the foods they are suggesting.. educate yourself as to what and why they suggest what they suggest when you're supposed to eat it. It's completely do-able, and that's pretty much how I live and eat, but it requires discipline and educating yourself.0
