No one is going to fix you a diet plan.

    How to start:

Eat normally, but log all your food. Stay under your calorie goals. Profit.

If your talking food then you should try to work in good foods, chicken, fish, lean beef, and stick to whole grains/ multi grains, stay away from enriched flour and try to work in fresh veggies and fruits. Use your food diary to log your food (and do it in the morning or the night before so you can see how many calories you will be consuming for the day until you learn the ins and outs) Take it one day at a time and don't get overwhelmed trying to worry about the entire week.. Do what you can to be successful today and worry about tomorrow when it gets here... Good Luck.....

I can understand that you are feeling a little lost. What I find helpful, although a bit boring, is to have 2-3 choices for each meal and alternate between them over the first week or two. I also create my menu the night before, so the next day I know I am getting the right mix of cabs/protein/healthy fats, and staying where I want to be with my sugar and sodium. If you get your menu done for the day, and you are high on sugar, you can go back and tweak a meal here and there for the next day and balance it out. If you log it after you eat it, it is trickier to do that! ;) Gradually add in other options that work within your food diary goals. Good luck, and hopefully some of the suggestions you get from this post will help you succeed and work for you!
