Swimmimg with sharks
Bungee jumping

I have done nearly everything I ever wanted to do - every adventure, every titillation, fantasy and achievement.
My bucket is empty except for one thing.
Total retirement before age 50!
And then I want to live to be 90 - playing tennis daily or whatever else suits my momentary fancy.
I've always hated responsibility and loved to go out and play.
Some people just never grow up.0 -

I've loved that show since last year. The guy is so...pissed about doing anything and hates all different cultures and is just miserable. Then every once in a while, he's digging it and he smiles.0

Three things:
I'd like to visit a few places like Alaska and Yellowstone before I kick the proverbial bucket.
And I would never bungee jump, but I would free-fall out of an airplane, lol.
Send a heap of money to St. Jude anonymously or pay for Christmas gifts for those families who are struggling...0 -

Anything to do with sharks!:noway:0 -
Interesting topic, especially since I just this year decided to start doing bucket list things NOW instead of "when I lose weight"...
So I am now trying to schedule things, something each 3 months or so, subject to available credit, lol.
March is the Bioluminescent Bay in Puerto Rico, June is the Rusty Wallace racing experience, and September is a hot air balloon ride. These things give me weight loss motivation, too, because I think how much more enjoyable each will be at a healthy weight. Love reading everyone's ideas!0 -
1) Get my daughter through college
2) Retire by age 55
3) Backpack the world for a year
4) 50 State road trip with my best friend0 -
I love Karl's philosphy on most things...'what's the point?' LOL
So you tie some strings around your ankles and throw yourself off a tower nearly killing yourself in the process, what's the point? I mean, that's just daft!
Last season he made a point that its better to live in a hut or a cave and look out your window at a castle, cause that's a nice view. You'd hate to be in the castle and have to look out at a bunch of huts. So they made him go spend a night in a cave and look out at a marvelous church facade carved into the side of a mountain.0 -
Summit Mt. Rainier. It's right outside my office window and I stare at it every day ...0

Some things on my Bucket List
1. finish the crown moulding in the family room
2. pay all my bills
3. road trip thru the USA for the other half I havent' seen yet
4. restore a 1936 Ford pickup to driveable condition
5. acheive total enlightenment0 -
Karl Pilkington = Legend, I love idiot abroad0

So basically, your bucket list involves trying to kill yourself repeatedly. Good plan. :laugh:0 -
Do a half marathon in all 50 states.
Do a half marathon in every continent. (Which might be a problem because I think there's only a full marathon on Antarctica.)
Take more cooking classes.
Learn more about wine.
Attend the graduations and weddings of all of my grandchildren - the one who was just born and all the others yet to come.
Live in a condo on the beach.
I'm sure there's a lot more, but that's enough to keep me busy for a while.0
