I've decided I'm going to start making protein shakes but I can't decide which brand is the best. I've read a ton of reviews but I'd like to hear from y'all first. Thanks!

I am partial to Syntha-6 but Myofusion is good and so is Russian Bear 5000 (mass gainer my friend has at work - tastes like ice cream)0

Gaspari Myofusion. I've tried Chocolate Peanut Butter and Chocolate.. Both are good, but I like the Chocolate better.
I'm going to try Cookies and Cream by them next.. and I hear it's really good.0 -
I like this; GNC Pro Performance® AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60™ - Vanilla0

Jay Robb - you can find it @ Whole Foods - it's one of the best out there, and I like the chocolate!!0

Jillian Micheals whey protein, the vanilla is good with berries. I especially like the triple chocolate. I add 1 tsp of cocoa powder(amps up the choco taste and a good anti oxidant) and some cinnammon.0

Vital Whey - which is also one of the best... google it and you'll see why. I don't know of any stores that sell it; I think it needs to be purchased online. I really like the natural vanilla flavor, but I heard the Chocolate flavor tastes better and the Natural has more protein per serving because there is no flavor or sativa to dilute it.0

If you have an Earth Fare store where you live, they have a great unsweetened vanilla soy protein powder.0

Optimum nutrition, tons of flavors and not too exspensive if you buy it off amazon.com0

You have to decide whether or not you want artificial sweeteners. A lot of the above mentioned protein powders have sucralose or other artificial sweeteners. I can't stand the aftertaste from any of those as it sticks with me for hours.
Isagenix sells a great whey protein powder that does not have any frakensweeteners in it.
There are some good ones sweetened with stevia as well0 -
I'm in the UK & like Maxitone Sculptress Chocolate flavour.0

Body Fortress - Super Advanced Whey Protein Shake-Chocolate Peanut Butter, $14.99 at Walmart for the big tub... It's GRRREAT!0

My wife and I are delighted with GNC AMP 60. Comes in Choc, Banana, Strawberry and fruit punch. 3 Scoops = 60 grams protein. We also take the GNC lean shakes (already made.). They have 25 grams of protein, but is a bit high of carbs. We mix one scoop of the powder with one of the lean shakes, 45 grams of protein and 263 calories. Great for breakfast. Oh, and by the way the taste is great!. If you like peanut butter, we buy this "PB2" powdered peanut butter. It is 85% fat free. Only 45 cals per 2 TBSP. We add this to our shakes. The PB2 can be bought on-line at www.bellplantation.com or Amazon. Hope this helps.0

Just now I'm loving PhD Nutrition - Diet Whey in Belgian Chocolate flavour and its super yummy. Shakes up lovely and thick like a milkshake when you only use water. I'm not keen on other brands that are watery when mixed. It is a little grainy though due to the added fibre and flax seed although I think it makes it more like a meal/snack and curbs any wee hunger pangs, I'm in the UK so not sure if its available where you are.0

We use Beverly International's Ultimate Muscle Protein in either Vanilla or Cookies and Cream. It also comes in Chocolate. This is only one of the supplements we use from Beverly. They are a top notch company with excellent customer service and very fast shipping.0

Muscle Feast Whey Protein Isolate 90, 26 grams protein, 105 calories, meaning only 1 calorie comes from something other than protein - which is lecithin to help emulsion. 0 carbs/0 fat. 5lbs for $500
