I need to lose 30 pounds before March 20th... Thats my Birthday and Spring Break!
We are going on a cruise and I really dont want to feel miserable on my birthday.
Please please please give me some tips to lose this weight!

I've lost 10 lbs in the past 2 weeks and it's all the healthy way! And I'm gaining muscle so I'll be toned when I'm done too0 -
I'm going through this right now! I need to lose my last 30 or so, by the end of March. God help me! It's going to be really hard. I started Insanity a few months back. My weight when I started was 150. When I came here to MFP, I was down to 135. Since Jan 11th! I have lost more weight since:)0

I have had alot of luck eating small snacks in between meals. I started at 197 lbs. and am now 168. I have read that the longer you go without eating the more likely your body is to go into "starvation mode" and it starts holding onto calories instead of burning them. Good Luck!0

I don't know how doable losing 30lbs in 2 months is. Especially considering that sometimes the last 10-15lbs is the hardest. But it's enough time to make a big difference anyways.
All it takes is healthy eating and exercise!

20 pounds in 2 months is maybe a bit more doable. 30 seems pushing it.
do lots of cardio (jogging, biking, walking) along with something like yoga and stretching.
1000 calorie deficit a day but atleast 1200 each day. Although maybe in the first 2 weeks you can go lower.
Eat foods that are easy to digest.
Eat atleast 3 regular meals with your heaviest calorie ones being earlier in the day.
Don't eat carbs for your meal at night.0 -
30 lbs that fast seems like a lofty goal, however, you could lose some weight and tone before then.
The best advise I can give is remove all processed foods ( no grains, no milk, soda, fake sugar, etc) Eat veggies, fruit, and meat. I would say nuts too (raw almonds and walnuts) but not if you are wanting to lose fast. Best of luck !0 -
Focusing on a goal can be motivational but it can hurt your progress too. The important thing to remember is that every morning is a new opportunity to do your best. Any weight loss is a win even if it's a little bit. I've lost 100 lbs and I have 15 more to go. I would like to do it before I pick out a wedding dress but if it doesn't happen in time there are always alterations that can be made. I want to be healthy for life. Good luck on your journey!0

Try to average 2 lbs per week. My goal is 37 lbs by July 1.0
