I played Dance Dance Revolution for the first time today. I can only do the easiest level, but I did it for an hour an ended up breaking out in a light sweat during the more difficult songs. I figured playing DDR for a little while would be a good way to get me up off my butt more often, but obviously it's not a substitute for regular exercise. Is it worth logging when I play DDR? If so, how should I log it?

I would, but I'm not sure how you would log it. Get a HRM to track calories burned.0

Def log that, search under dance, it comes up with a few different options, If you can log house cleaning as burning calories, you should def log dancing, and you did burn those calories, so take credit for them
I would

A HRM is not something I can afford right now. I don't want a cheap $20 one that won't be very reliable, and anything much more than that is too expensive. I asked my husband about it, but he doesn't think we can justify spending the money right now.0

Polar has some for cheap I've heard. You could just take your heart rate manually at a certain interval, figure out the average, and then plug it into a calculator online somewhere. When I took a fitness class in college we did it that way.

$40 is still too much for me. I guess I could try doing it manually, if I can get past my fear and hatred of having to do math. :P0
