Has anyone registered with the Special K weight loss plan? iv just downloaded a sample weekly menu and it actually looks really good.

doesnt come up cheap on when doing an order from Tesco! this first week will cost me over £130... thats a lot of money for just one week worth of shopping!

I was thinking about it, but to be honest, I just tried to educate myself about food in general and made my own menus and meal plans, just so I have an idea of what i can eat, and eat in moderation, because i think cutting things completely out of your diet isnt good for you or your motivation.
Good luck with it , though Special K has a lot more sugars and carbs in than say a supermarkets own brand. and more expensive!

That sounds really expensive - what's pushing the cost up so much? Is is cos you have to buy lots of herbs and spices that you dont already have?

My sample weekly menu didn't have a repeat of any of the products, you have to buy a breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack (all special K all completely different, Dinner doesn't seep to be brand dependant) for each day. Not to mention what you're supposed to have with each special k product. It's good marketing but hugely bad for the wallet.

It's a nice Idea but I don't think I can buy 7 different cereals, 7 different bars, different shakes and so on.
  • I did the special K diet plan and didn't loose anything but my mind because i was hungry lol ,,, also talked to my nutrienist about it and she told me that one of her patients, whom she didnt name, actually ended up in the hospital from it due to not having enough to eat and burning a lot more cals then he was getting from the shakes and the cereals, Try something else maybe we can find something that can help you that is better then this

I agree! I've never found a cereal or bar that's as filling as an Oats so Simple! Squeeze of honey, figs, good to go, lol!
  • I've thought of Special K twice this week, for one thing I really like cereall =)

I did it for a few days before and It really kept my sweet tooth at bay. I may do it again next Monday, idk...we'll see.
