A WONDERFUL feeling .. even though I am stuck

There was never a more wonderful feeling, than when my mother decided to jump on board, after my "selling" MFP as if I had some stock in it, and has already lost 15lbs. (way to go Mom)

HOWEVER ... my son's pre-school teachers have been hearing about my journey at almost every milestone. ONE of his teachers asked how I was doing it some time back ... and I wrote down this website. I didn't really ask her if she ever went on, but I DID notice this morning that her face most DEFINITELY got thinner.

Well .. we got to talking, and they were commenting me on my .. ready for this .. "skinny legs" (gasp) and this teacher then told me that she had already lost ... ready .. 20 FREAKING POUNDS. Go Mrs. S.

She told me what an inspiration I was and how I motivated her so much. Well ...
I start tearing up right then and there. That is TWO people that I have "inspired" to make themselves the best, most healthy version, of themselves.

So .. since about April, I have been maintaining at 127. OK, I'm NOT complaining at all but this last 10-12lbs haven't been a huge priority for me. Ever since Easter, I've bagged out on exercising on the weekends .. taking time off ... eating all (every bit) of my calories, and sometimes going over .. but maintaining a place I am really comfortable.

NOW .. I want to lose this last 10-12 more than ever. If I am a "inspiration" to ANYONE ... I need to see this all the way through to my very most sought out goal.

I have goosebumps just writing the story ... WHAT A WONDEFUL FEELING!!

I have this past ... (as most do) but one that i'm not overly proud of ... I've overcome certain .. things .. and NEVER thought of myself as a POSITIVE in anyone's life ... let alone really hearing it. I know I'm a great Mom and love my kids ... but isn't it SO AWESOME when we can touch those around us?? I don't know ... I just thought I would share.

You should be so proud of yourself, for not only improving your own health and life, but the health of those around you. Thanks for sharing your great story and with an attitude as great as yours you will make your goal and inspire many others along the way.

    Cheers to you

Me too! And we also got my dad to join! Both are doing great. The only one in the family that didn't need it is my sister. Although she signed up too... she needs to gain weight... although with the way she eats I just don't see how it's possible. :noway:

    Seriously though Kel, good stuff.

Side note: shouldn't I get some kind of kick back for the pyramid of new sign on's I have?
    MIKE, where are my Benjamins?:glasses:

LOL! I think that was the most amicable ending I have ever had to a relationship that lasted more then a month. But it was good times! I think it was my black and gold glass top coffee table in my living room that was the final straw! What can I say, I'm not a good decorator! But hey, I can build a hell of a stone patio, and cook a hell of a BBQ!

Yep, sorry guys, Life is good here, New house, good life (our jobs not withstanding:tongue: ) my wife and I are both very happy. She has an account on here, although she doesn't use it (she uses daily plate, she felt she needed her own little private place, which is fine with me)

Wife is going for her ACE certification soon (American Council on Exercise), as am I.

So nope, no reunion hopes, unless you count me training Kel. (wuss won't come meet me for my torture sessions though:glasses: )

I'd happily come for a torture session (masochist at heart?) but I have a feeling it would be quite the drive to get to you... I'm in Barrie, On, Canada.
