Right now I am eating apples and baby carrots because it is in season, meaning it would cost me an arm and a leg. I am getting burned out. What snacks does everyone else enjoy?

I usually snack on the 100 calorie packets, which are either the chips ahoy thin crisps, or emerald almonds. They have other options also. oh and I absolutely love fruit chillers (i think Dole makes them) they are delish!
  • Almonds and walnuts. Buy them in bulk, kind of pricey

+1 ... I used to make these all the time and they're great. Here's a recipe:

I also like mixed nuts (I'm partial to Planter's Heart Healthy Mix, not because of the nutritional claims but because it contains my favorite nuts), celery sticks with Laughing Cow cheese, low fat mozzarella sticks, any kind of fruit. I tend to find a few things I like and eat them until I'm sick and tired of them, then switch to something else.
  • Ha, I forgot that we have frozen blueberries. Thanks for the reminder. I need to grab different kinds of nuts to snack on.

Feel free to look at my diary... I don't really eat meals, I snack all day long!
