My one week success story!

Just wanted to share my week one results with those who are needing a little motivation. I joined MFP a week ago. Started doing the 30 Day Shred and Zumba everyday (except for 1 day I had to give my knee a break). Tracked everything I ate (even ate out once). I weighed and did my measurements Monday before I started all this. I was 201.8lbs. This morning I weighed 196.4. That is a 5.4lb loss! I am thrilled!! I was also down 1.5 in on my bust line, 1 in on my left arm (right arm stayed the same) 1 in off my waist and .5 off of each thigh!
I know everyone is always saying "If I can do, anyone can do it!" Well, that is how I feel this morning. After 9 years of not working out and eating bad its not easy to jump into a lifestyle change, but I have done it!! And with a great first week it makes me want to work even harder!
So to all those just starting out, YOU CAN DO IT!!!! You really can!

Congrats! What a way to reinforce your positive lifestyle changes! Keep it up. I started at 193 myself. Lots of ups and downs, but overall losing trend. Jillian (circuit training in general) and Zumba are some of the faves around this place. Have fun, mix it up, eat well and good luck with your efforts!!0

Congrats! I'm sure it is an awesome feeling to be under 200 lbs. I weighed in this morning and reached my mini goal for last week and that was to be under 190. It feels amazing to reach the little goals we set and it is more reason to stay motivated and to continue on with our journeys.0

Thanks everyone! I have been at 200-205 (I am 5'8 1/2) for the past 5 years so I ♥ that I am under 200 now. It took my BMI from being obese to overweight!0
